Function

Two step NADP-dependent conversion of GDP-4-dehydro-6-deoxy-D-mannose to GDP-fucose, involving an epimerase and a reductase reaction. Ref.1

Catalytic activity

GDP-L-fucose + NADP+ = GDP-4-dehydro-6-deoxy-D-mannose + NADPH.
